Ex- Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities report that a former doctor stands accused of carrying out assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous sexual offences – including acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what police described as a “detailed inquiry” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors said the forty-five charges comprise:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
